Plain-English summary: UGG works without an account — by default your workouts, meals, and health information stay on your device. If you choose to Sign in with Apple, we store a backup of your app data on our servers so it can sync across your devices; you can delete your account and all cloud data at any time from inside the app. Text (and optional meal photos) you send to the AI Coach is forwarded to Google Gemini to generate a response. Subscriptions are billed by Apple through the App Store. We never sell your data or use it for advertising, and there are no ads.
This Privacy Policy describes how Dobrin Chokoev ("we", "our", or "us"), the developer of Ultimate Gym Guide (the "App"), handles information when you use the App. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
The following information is created and stored on your device. If you do not sign in, it is never transmitted to our servers or to any third party:
You can permanently delete all on-device data at any time from Settings → Clear All Data, or by uninstalling the App.
Creating an account is optional — every feature of the App works without one. If you choose to sign in with Apple:
UGG Pro subscriptions are purchased through Apple's App Store and billed by Apple. We never see your payment details. We use RevenueCat to validate subscription status; RevenueCat receives an anonymized user identifier and purchase receipts (see RevenueCat's Privacy Policy).
When you use the AI Coach (the chat feature, suggested-question buttons, the AI photo-meal analyzer, or the safety-tip generator), the following data is sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our backend at ultimategymguide.replit.app:
AI requests are processed and discarded; we do not maintain a long-term database of user prompts. If you are not signed in, AI requests are not linked to your identity. Standard short-lived server logs (which may contain the request body and an IP address) may be retained for up to 30 days for the sole purpose of diagnosing errors and preventing abuse, after which they are automatically deleted.
UGG relies on the following third parties to function:
We do not use any third-party advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking SDKs.
On-device data: deleted immediately when you tap Settings → Clear All Data or uninstall the App.
Server-side data: AI-prompt request bodies may live in short-lived diagnostic logs for up to 30 days and are then automatically purged. If you created an account, your synced app data is retained until you delete your account from Settings → Delete Account (or email us), at which point it is permanently erased.
UGG is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the App and you would like the matter reviewed, please contact us at the address below.
All network requests use HTTPS encryption in transit. On-device data benefits from iOS's standard application sandbox and Data Protection encryption when your device is locked. No system is perfectly secure; you use the App at your own risk.
Depending on your jurisdiction (including the EU/EEA under GDPR and California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. Without an account, most data lives only on your device, so exercising these rights simply means clearing the App's data. With an account, you can delete everything we hold via Settings → Delete Account; for other requests, contact us at the address below.
UGG provides general fitness and nutrition guidance generated by an AI model. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning a new exercise or nutrition program, especially if you have any pre-existing medical condition, are pregnant, or are recovering from injury.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the App.
